While wishing Nigerians and Edo people in the state and in Diaspora, a merry Christmas, he said:

“As we mark this season of love, I urge you all to use this auspicious celebration to show care and to reflect on the life of Jesus Christ and his teaching on love and sacrifice.

“Kindly adhere to the COVID-19 protocols and be safe as you celebrate with your friends and loved ones.

“For security and other emergencies, please call the Edo helpline on 08000911911 and 08001235111.”
