NBBF Crisis: Ministry Moves to Resolve Impasse, Awaits Congresses Reports

By Mohammed Mohammed

The Federal Government through the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development on Thursday said that the ministry is cognizance of the recent developments around the elective congresses of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) which held last week in Benin City and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The Director of Press and Public Relation in the Ministry, Mr. Mohammed Manga, in a signed statement made available to the media said: “The Ministry awaits the reports of the Congresses upon which it will make its position known.”

Recall that the elections which held at the two different centres have thrown the Federation into crisis following the emergence of Musa Kida and Mark Igoche, laying claim to be president of the NBBF family.
