Minister Expresses Confidence Abdullahi will Perform as Environment Minister

The Minister of Science Technology and Innovation (FMSTI), Dr. Ogbonnaya Onu has expressed his happiness over the appointment and elevation of the former Minister of State in the Ministry, Barr. Mohammed Abdullahi as the Minister of Environment.

The Minister, while ventilating his view on his erstwhile surrogate Minister, expressed his joy and commended Barrister Abdullahi whom he described as a worthy and hardworking personality while serving as the Minister of State in the ministry.

The Minister made the remarks during a dinner organised in the honour of the former Minister of State by the Ministry on Tuesday in Abuja.

Onu stated: “History was made on the 6th of April, when our own, Barr. Mohammed Abdullahi was appointed to occupy a very special seat of the Ministry of Environment in the government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.

Onu said he was convinced and had no doubt in his mind that Abdullahi will perform very well.
