Yemi Osinbajo: After Femur Fracture, FEC Wishes Him Quick Recovery

By Mohamed Mohammed

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Boss Mustapha, on Sunday conveyed the quick recovery wishes of the Federal Executive Council (FEC), to the Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo following a successful operation on account of a fracture of his right femur (thigh bone).

The SGF suspected that the injury could possibly be related to a long-standing injury associated with the game of squash.

The surgical operation which was performed by a team of specialist doctors in Lagos has been reported to be successful, he added.

He said in a signed statement: “As Professor Osinbajo recuperates from the surgical operation, FEC wishes him quick recovery so as to continue to give the needed support for the overall growth and stability of the country.”

Signed: Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
