NiMet Elevates 530 Staff

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet) through the Federal Ministry of Aviation, its supervisory Ministry has said 530 staff have been promoted.

The agency in a statement signed by Mr. Muntari Yusuf Ibrahim, its General Manager, Communications and Public Relations, said, NiMet, has released the results of the 2022 promotion examination.

According to him, the release of the result followed the successful conduct and completion of the promotion examination held on the 19th and 30th of March this year, across the 6 geopolitical zones of the country.

The result, he added received the approval of the Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika via a letter FMA/NiMet/4551/T/170.

Ibrahim, quoted the Director, Human Resources and Administration, Mrs. Rabi Mohammed Daku, as saying in the breakdown: “Nineteen (19) officers were promoted to the Managerial cadre while five hundred and eleven (511) officers were equally promoted to Senior and Middle level Management cadre.”

Following this, he said letters/ results have since been released to deserving staff.
