NASENI Calls for Media Collaboration, Sustained Momentum for Nigeria’s Industrialization

The Management of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) over the week end called on the media to sustained the momentum and support it had accorded the agency in its drive towards making Nigeria Africa’s power house in industrial revolution.

The agency’s Head of Media and Information, Mr. Segun Ayeoyenikan, expressed the management appreciation for the Nigerian media’s reportage and positive criticism of NASENI activities as witnessed over the years, adding that the cordial relationship between the agency and the media have resulted in a win-win game for the country.

He said: “The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure is very much grateful and appreciative of the support so far given by the media especially the existing online media partners for the wonderful jobs of promoting the good works of the agency.”

In continuation of Nigeria’s industrialisation’s drive, Ayeoyenikan, explained that the agency is entering into a very crucial phase of its sustainability drive following the developments of change of baton in its leadership amidst other needs.

He acknowledged that it is therefore imperative for speedy growth of the country that the media and NASENI should harmoniously collaborate and work together to increase the agency’s visibility through its mission, vision and objective statements, which are the catalysts for Nigeria’s industrial reawakening.

Meanwhile, a national newspaper had reported over the weekend that the incoming Executive Vice Chairman (EVC), Mrs. Nonyem Onyechi, has expressed utmost optimism and indication to harmoniously through teamwork deepen the stability of the agency in pursuing the industrialization agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari Administration.

According to the report, the EVC, pledged to remain focused, re-ignite her total commitment to enhance NASENI as one of the visible legacies of President Buhari.

 She stated that President Buhari, has demonstrated much benevolence to the agency buy approving massive funding and investments to NASENI to manufacture and fabricate machines as well as technical support needed to facilitate Nigeria’s industrialization
