Ex-NASENI boss, Haruna gets Human Capital Development award

The Coalition of Nasarawa North Youth Groups has honoured the immediate past Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Professor Mohammed Sani Haruna with an award of  “ICON OF COMMUNITY AND HUMAN CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT.”

The award ceremony took place during a reception in honour of the Governor Abdullahi Sule, and the member representing the area at the National Assembly, Jeremiah Umaru, organised by the Coalition at the Kini Country Hotel, Akwanga last Saturday. 

Haruna who was also father of the occasion urged the  youth to shun social vices and embrace education as a means to secure a brighter future. 

A statement by the Sarkin Sharifan Media, Peter Ewu, said that the ex- NASENI boss expressed gratitude to the organisers for their support in strengthening the current administration’s efforts towards human capital development.

In his address, leader of the Coalition, Comrade Samuel Alkali, said the event became imperative considering  Governor Sule’s exceptional performance across various sectors of the state’s economy. 

He called on youths of the State to rally around and continue to show their support for Governor Sule’s administration.
