Aren Eggon Unity Cup: Nacabs poly qualify for final, meet NUES FULafia, Friday

•••As founder, Abuluya hails school performance, tips them to defeat FULafia team•••

The Founder of Nacabs Polytechnic Akwanga, Nasarawa State, Mr. David Abuluya, has commended National Union of Eggon Students ( NUES) of the institution of excellent performance at the ongoing Aren Eggon NUES Inter-School Football competition across higher institutions in the country.

Abuluya, who is the President, Eggon Cultural and Development Association ( ECDA) Worldwide gave the commendation while playing host to NUES officials of the school in his office in Akwanga.

He said that he was happy and excited seeing NUES of his school reaching final stage of the Aren Eggon NUES Inter-School Football competition.

” I am happy and excited over your excellent performance so far and I urge you to keep the flag flying.

” It is a good news that you have defeated NUES College of Education Akwanga and Nasarawa State University Keffi respectively to reach the final stage.

” Now you are going to meet with NUES Federal University of Lafia this coming Friday for the final stage of the competition, ” he said.

Abuluya, who is also the Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC), Nasarawa State urged the team to win the unity competition.

” Go and play well in order to win the unity football competition considering the importance of the cup to our school and societal development,” he said.

Abuluya commended the organizers of the competition, saying that football promote unity and peace among students and other people.

He assured the team of his support while urging them to abide by the competition’s rules and regulations in the interest of peace and development.

Besides, The school founder called on the students and other Nigerians to embrace football and other sporting activities.

He said that sport promote unity and peace as well enhances physical fitness.

Earlier, Comrade Bitrus Dogara Jacob, the NUES President, Nacabs said that they were at the proprietor”s office to brief him on their performance so far at the ongoing Aren Eggon NUES football competition.

” Sir, I want to inform you that we have defeated both College of Education Akwanga and Nasarawa State University Keffi to reach the final stage of the competition.

” We are going to play with NUES, Federal University of Lafia for the final stage this coming Friday, September 15th, 2023 by 3:00 pm at RCM primary school football field Nassarawa Eggon LGA.

” We want to assure you that we are going to do our best to ensure that we win the cup,” he said.

The Nacabs NUES President solicited for the support of the proprietor to enable them win the competition.
