Stop overheating the polity, Nasarawa APC tells PDP

The Nasarawa State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC) has tasked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to desist from misinterpreting every statement by Governor Abdullahi Sule.

According to him, since the split judgement of the governorship elections petition tribunal on Oct. 2, the opposition have decided to misinterpret every statement made by the Governor.

“It is obvious that the PDP seems to be agitated and ruffled with anything that comes from the Governor no matter how good and beneficial it appears.

“They have decided and determine misinterpret every statement that emanates from either the governor or anybody that has something to do with the present administration in the state.

“It is imperative therefore to put things in their correct perspective in order to save the public from being mislead to believing their misinformation,” the APC Chairman added.

He further explained that the state is known for peace and politicians should desist from making inflammatory statements that is capable of throwing the state into avoidable crisis.

He said that already APC had filed an appeal challenging the judgement of the tribunal and they are optimistic that they have the grounds to upturn the judgement.

“While the legal battle continues at the Appeal Court, the governor had moved on in developing the state and attracting investors and refused to be distracted.

“We are calling on the PDP to join hands with the governor and give useful suggestions on how to develop the state  instead of regular unpalatable and Inciting commentaries capable of causing friction,” Bello added.
