The Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda has expressed deep sadness and grief over the death of Nigeria’s Ambassador to Morocco, Alhaji Mansur Nuhu Bamalli.

Ambassador Bamalli died on Friday at a private hospital in Lagos, while on transit to Morocco.

He was also the Magajin Garin Zazzau and biological younger brother to the Emir of Zazzau.

Describing the deceased as a seasoned diplomat, Governor Radda, in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, said that the late Nigerian envoy was deeply grounded in the art of foreign diplomacy, which he deployed to enhance the bilateral ties between Nigeria and Morocco.

According to the Katsina Governor, Ambassador Bamalli’s trademark humility, tenderness, and simplicity, shrouded his affiliation to an influential royal lineage and vast educational background.

“The late Nigerian envoy is a paragon of humility and simplicity. He was equally a royal personage who was dedicated to empowering the downtrodden across the Zazzau Emirate.

“Ambassador Mansur Bamalli was a first class diplomat committed to enhancing Nigeria’s image on the global stage, especially in Morocco where he was representing the country, prior to his demise,” he said.

Radda, while urging the Emir of Zazzau, together with the people and government of Kaduna State to take solace in the reality that the late Nigerian ambassador lived a fulfilled life, beseeched Allah (S.W.T) to grant Alh. Mansur Bamalli an eternal rest in his abode of Jannatul Firdaus.
