Katsina women journalists celebrate Kankara monarch’s 23 years on throne

The Katsina State chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, has celebrated its Patron, His Royal Highness, the Kanwan Katsina and the District Head of Katere, Kankara Local Government Area, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara.

A statement jointly signed by its Chairperson, Hannatu Mohammed, and Secretary, Faith Awa Maji, noted that the monarch’s purposeful leadership has no doubt attracted developmental projects in and around communities of Ketare district.

“Your purposeful leadership and steadfastness as a Monarch, has no doubt attracted developmental projects in and around communities of Ketare district.

“NAWOJ has it on record that your 23 years on the throne has been distinctive with lots of achievements especially in the areas of youth and women empowerment, educational development, water supply, health, roads, among others.

“We wish you, our patron, the Kanwan Katsina, Alhaji Usman Bello Kankara, good health, Allah’s guidance and blessing to continue to bring more development to Ketare District, Kankara Local Government Area and Katsina State as a whole.

“We once again pray for the return of peace in Kankara Local Government Area and the country in general,” the statement said.
