Katsina: Gov Radda preaches peace, unity at Christmas

As Christians all over the globe celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, has preached  peaceful coexistence among the people.

The Governor urges Christians in the State to emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ. 

The Governor in his Christmas message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed Radda said that, “as we celebrate the importance of life, peace and unity, we should continue to pray for the country.

He applauded the people for their resilience in fostering peace and religious harmony and further admonished the people to continue to uphold the sanctity of love, unity and security of the state and Nigeria. 

The statement said, “it is instructive to note that in the face of challenges, Governor Radda remains committed to ending banditry and ensuring the safety of all citizens. 

“The government is actively tackling security issues, implementing measures to safeguard communities and foster an environment of peace.

“Furthermore, recognizing the pivotal role education plays in societal development, Governor Radda has dedicated himself to reforming the education sector in Katsina State.

“Through strategic initiatives, the government aims to enhance the quality of education and providing a foundation for the prosperity of the State.

“During this festive season, Governor Radda encourages everyone to use the time for prayer and reflection stressing that in the spirit of togetherness, we should join hands in seeking divine intervention for peace, security and continued progress of Katsina State and Nigeria.

“He expresses his heartfelt Christmas greetings to all the Christians in the state while urging citizens to embrace the festive period with hope and optimism.”
