The Emir of Zazzau, Kaduna State, Ambassador Nuhu Bamali, has attributed what he describes as reduction in insecurity situation in the country to relentless service delivery by governments at all levels as well as the security agencies.
He spoke in his palace in Zaria on Wednesday after the Eid prayers marking end of the month-long Muslim Ramadan fasting.
According to him “we thank God for seeing us through this period of Sallah.
“We thank the government at all levels for maintaining peace across the states of the federation.
“We are also grateful to security operatives in the country for the fight against insecurity.
“Your relentless service to humanity has really restored peace. Thank you all.
“Nigerians have not relented in praying for us considering the massive support during the kidnapping and subsequent rescuing of the school children in Kaduna recently.
“I appreciate you all for supporting the government at all levels for the development of our country and total restoration of peace.”
Highlights of the Sallah celebration at the Zazzau Emirate was the traditional durbar display by the colourfully adored horses from the different traditional title holders of the Emirate.
