The LG, Boss who appreciated God for the privilege to commence and complete the Ramadan fasting successfully admonished Muslim and other Nigerians to embrace peace and love one another irrespective of their etno-religious differences.

“My Sallah message is for us to embrace peace and love one another because nobody is an island. We need to love one another.

“We need one another for us to progress. So, in that regard, peace is the key to development.

“In a society of rancour, there will be no development. Shedding blood of innocent people will do us no good.

“I am appealing to all of us to tolerate one another and live in peace and harmony,” he said.

Speaking earlier, Labaran Magaji, Commissioner for Justice and Attorney- General of the state also called for a collaborative effort in ensuring the sustenance of peace in Toto and the country at large.

Magaji thanked Governor Abdullahi Sule for his efforts in protecting lives and property in the state and called on the people to make peace their watchword.
