
Nasarawa Assembly marks end of first legislative year, proceeds on recess
The Nasarawa State House of Assembly, says it passed number of bills into law with others pending, made 20 resolutions and confirmed over 50 different appointments in the last one year.
The Speaker, Rt. Hon. Danladi Jatau, made this known at the end of the 7th Assembly first legislative year after which he said members would proceed on recess, to resume July 1.
The Speaker said that the House received a number of bills and attended to some while others are in various stages with 20 resolutions reached in the last one year.
According to him, “we have also confirmed over 50 different appointments.
“I want to thank Honourable Members for making my leadership to achieve these.”
