Book on Justice Ubangari ready for presentation December 30th

A book written in honour of the former Chief Judge of Nasarawa State, and the paramount traditional ruler of the Eggon Nation, the Aren Eggon, Justice Ahmed Ubangari rtd, will be launched on the 30th December, 2024.

The book titled, “Justice Ahmed Ubangari: His Lordship, His Majesty, Fulfilling Divine Destiny, A Biography”, basically x-rays his legacies, life and time till present date.

In a press release signed by the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, DCG Sule Alu (rtd), a copy made available to newsmen in Lafia, said preparations have been finalized for the public presentation of the biography, scheduled to hold at the Albert Event Centre in Nassarawa-Eggon local government of the state.

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State is expected to be the special guest of honour, the Emir of Lafia and Chairman Traditional Council of Chiefs, Sidi Bage Muhammad, is the event’s Royal Father, while the Andoma of Doma, Ahmad Aliyu Ogah Onawo will be chairing the book launch.

Muhammad Ohitoto Hussein, the Public Relations Officer of the National Primary Healthcare Development Agency will be reviewing the book, while Iliya Ibn Aliyu, the Chairman of Nassarawa Eggon local government will serve as the host.

Also expected at the occasion are the speaker and members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, members of the state executive council, serving and retired Superior Justices and other Judges as well as traditional rulers from within and outside the state.

The release reads in part, “this highly anticipated event will honour the life and legacy of the esteemed traditional leader and former Chief Judge of Nasarawa State.

“The biography, authored by veteran journalist, Matthew Kuju, explores Aren Eggon’s life journey, from his birth to his current status, highlighting his challenges, achievements, and contributions to society.

The book, *Justice Ahmed Ubangari: His Lordship, His Majesty, Fulfilling Divine Destiny, A Biography*, is written in simple prose, making it accessible and easy to read for a wide audience,” DCG Alu said.

According to the CPC chairman, the event promises to be a memorable and joyous celebration of the life, legacy, and contributions to the community of Justice Ahmed Ubangari rtd.

“This biography affirms the power of leadership, wisdom, and dedication to the greater good. It is a story that will inspire and motivate future generations to strive for excellence and make a positive impact in their communities.

The public presentation of this biography is a fitting tribute to Aren Eggon’s life and legacy. It is an opportunity for people to come together and celebrate his contributions to society, CCPC Alu said.
