2027 Nasarawa Assembly: Namo expresses interest in Eggon/East seat

As the 2027 general elections draw nearer, Comrade Alex Usman Namo, a pro-democracy and Entrepreneur has formally announced his intention to contest for Nasarawa State House of Assembly representing Nasarawa Eggon/East Constituency.

This is contained in a statement made available to FMBlog on Wednesday.

Alex emphasised that his aspiration is driven by an unwavering passion to promote development and entrepreneurial growth, unlocking the vast potential inherent in the constituency.

He pledged to provide exemplary representation in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly effectively addressing the myriad challenges confronting the constituency, if elected.

The statement read, “Over the years, I have witnessed the untapped potential of our community, and I am convinced that with effective leadership, we can unlock the doors to prosperity and progress. As your representative, I am committed to harnessing my skills, experience, and expertise to drive positive change and progress. My vision is to create opportunities for economic empowerment, improve infrastructure, and enhance the overall quality of life for our people.

“As we look towards 2027, I envision a future where Nasarawa East constituency is a hub of innovation, entrepreneurship, and growth. I see our youth empowered with skills and resources to start and grow their own businesses.

“I see our farmers having access to modern farming techniques, markets, and resources to increase their productivity and income. I see our women and girls empowered with education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. I see our community coming together to build a brighter future for ourselves and for generations to come”.

The statement further noted that, his agenda for the constituency includes promoting entrepreneurship and job creation through training, mentorship, and access to capital, improving infrastructure, including roads, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions, enhancing access to quality education, healthcare, and social services, empowering women, youth, and vulnerable groups through targeted programs and initiatives, and fostering community engagement, participation, and ownership of development initiatives.

“I call for your support, trust, and participation in this journey. Together, we can build a brighter future for Nasarawa Eggon East constituency, one that is marked by prosperity, innovation, and collective progress. Let us work together to make 2027 a turning point in the history of our community”.
