Katsina State Governor’s wife flags-off free medical outreach in Sandamu

As part of efforts to provide free medical services across Katsina State, the wife of the Governor, Hajiya Zulaihat Dikko Radda, has urged women and children to take advantage of medical checkups.

She made the call during the flag-off of a free medical outreach for 500 beneficiaries held at the Comprehensive Health Centre, Sandamu Local Government Area of the State on Saturday.
Represented by the wife of the Chief of Staff, Hajiya Maijida Andaji, she explained that all patients would receive free treatment, medications, and food items such as spaghetti, reflecting the government’s priority to ensure healthcare access for all citizens.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Sandamu Local Government, Alhaji Usman Nalado, commended the initiative and announced the addition of 1,500 more beneficiaries from the local council, bringing the total to 2,000.

Earlier, in her welcome address, the wife of the Sandamu Chairman, Hajiya Hafsat Usman Nalado, expressed appreciation for the gesture and wished patients a speedy recovery.






Similarly, the District Head of Sandamu, Alhaji Ya’u Sani Zakari, and the Director of the Safe Space Humanitarian Initiative (SASHI), Hajiya Binta Shaba, lauded the Governor’s wife for her consistent efforts in supporting healthcare delivery in the state.
