The Katsina State First Lady, Zulaihat Dikko Radda has joined world leaders, changemakers, and development partners at the 2025 goalkeepers event held on the sidelines of the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, United States.

The high-profile ongoing event, convened by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, served as a platform to assess global progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In her participation, the Katsina First Lady aligned with international voices calling for stronger commitments to inclusive development.

Her engagement highlighted the role of sub-national actors in bridging global aspirations with local realities, particularly in areas of health, education, and poverty reduction.

By taking part in the Goalkeepers platform, Mrs Radda reaffirmed the growing visibility and influence of Nigerian women leaders on the world stage.

Her presence underscored Nigeria’s determination to contribute meaningfully to the 2030 Agenda, with a clear focus on leaving no one behind.
